Bite Beauty has posted not one, not two, but three inspiration teases for February’s Lip Lab Limited Release Creme Deluxe Lipstick.
January’s sold out crazy fast (you can read my review of it here) and I’m sure this month’s iteration will go just as quickly. What I decided to do was pull together a few lipsticks that are very similar to the shades in the inspiration pictures. You’ll notice I pulled more from the first two pictures. I think the darker purples of the eggplants may serve as more of an undertone.
Maybe you don’t like the LLLR formula. Maybe it’s too pricey. Maybe you’ll just miss out. Either way, I’ve got you covered. Check out these lipsticks, inspired by the inspiration, and see if any work for you!
1.) NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream in “Prague”: Look at that old school swatch! One of the first I ever took. Because of the matte finish, “Prague” reads much more muted than the color inspiration photo, but it is definitely a close match. The color is beautifully bright and the formula makes it look cozy and soft. If you want to read my little review of it, you can do so here! Get the lipstick here for $5.99. PSA: Take NYX color circles with a grain of salt. They always look darker than real life!
2.) Bite Beauty Luminous Creme Lipstick in “Lingonberry”: If you want to stick with Bite Beauty, “Lingonberry” is your best bet! It’s a tad brighter, but that’s always a good thing. It’s one of those shades that works all year long. It’s not sold separately, but it IS sold as half of their duos. 2 mini lipsticks for $12! Get it here along with “Tangerine”. If you want to read my review of “Lingonberry” and a million others in the set, check it out here!
3.) Urban Decay Revolution Lipstick in “Ladyflower”: One of my all time favorite shades from one of my all time favorite lipstick lines. AND it’s perfect match for the inspiration photo? Yes, please. Ladyflower isn’t sold on it’s own, but don’t fear. You can get it as a mini in the UD Full Frontal Lip Stash Set (I reviewed it here). It’s not available at Sephora but you can still get it on Macy’s website here. I absolutely love that collection. If the set isn’t what you want, there is good news. “Ladyflower” is included in the new Urban Decay Sheer Revolution line! The pigmentation won’t be as strong as the picture above but the color is guaranteed to be a match! You can grab that full-sized here!
The LLLR lipstick will be available on Wednesday, Feb. 4th. Be ready! I’m hoping I get lucky again so I can keep reviewing them!
